Sagardo Forum 2021
Organised by Sagardoaren Lurraldea, the 4th SAGARDO FORUM, a technical workshop dedicated to the apple, apple derivatives and the culture and tourism of cider, will take place from 18th-21th November 2021.
The workshop will include technical talks by national and international professionals on 18th and 19th November at Erribera Kulturgunea’s facilities (see location on Google Maps), giving us an overview of the current situation and the evolution experienced by the cider sector over recent years, with a focus on 3 core topics: apple, cider and cider houses as a tourist resource. The 4th SAGARDO FORUM will also hold the III International Cider Competition on 19-20th November at Erribera Kulturgunea’s facilities (see location on Google Maps), where prestigious tasters from all over the world (sommelier, winemakers, chefs, journalists, gastronomy bloggers, etc.) will try different types of cider, classified in 9 categories, and choose the best ones as the winners: natural basque cider, natural Asturian cider, traditional french cider, traditional english cider, modern ciders, “premium” carbonated ciders, apfelwein, flavoured cider and perry and ice ciders. The 4th SAGARDO FORUM will also celebrate the II International Cider Fair on 20th and 21st November at Kursaal Congress Center (see location on Google Maps). This fair is aimed to professional public and general public and there will offer the possibility to taste different types of cider in the stands of cider producers.
