I want to tell you about a miracle drink. A drink dating from as far back as ancient Rome - conceivably centuries earlier. A drink that has been, at differenttimers, a sneered -at thirst- quencher for society´s poorest and poured for nobility at prices that rivalled French wine. A drink made fro, fruit whose trees grow taller than houses and can live 300 years or more. A drink that has faced extinction at some point in iys life everywhere it is made, but which has hung on, sometimes by a thread, thanks to the grit and care and will and love and sheer bloody-mindedness of people who knew it to be too great a treasure to lose. I want to tel you about perry.
